Jury Selection Begins In Retrial Of Potential Death Penalty For Jodi Arias
Jodi Arias returns to court this week as jury selection is beginning for the penalty phase retrial of her murder conviction. Arias was found guilty in the 2008 slaying of her former boyfriend, Travis Alexander in Phoenix, Arizona. She insisted that stabbing Alexander 30 times, slitting his throat and then shooting him in the head was all done in self defense. During the original murder trial Arias changed her story several times and evidence left behind on a digital camera seemed to paint a totally different picture of the violent attack then what she had told law enforcement. -
