Yorkville Endoscopy Medical Director Fired After Joan Rivers Death As Investigation Continues
Just yesterday The Yorkville Endoscopy Clinic in Manhattan insisted that a biopsy had not been performed on Joan Rivers while she underwent an endoscopic procedure on her throat on August 28th. Earlier in the week a source had claimed that Joan's vocal cords had seized during an unplanned biopsy blocking her airway and that was what ultimately caused the comedienne to go into cardiac arrest. Now we are hearing that the medical director of the clinic has been fired. -

The Bridge School Benefit will continue this year despite yearly headliner Neil Young having filed for divorce from Pegi Young, the co-founder of the Bridge School. Now two students from the school have announced the lineup via a YouTube video (see below). This year's event will include Neil Young, Pearl Jam, Florence + The Machine, Tom Jones, Soundgarden, Norah Jones' new group Puss N Boots, and Band of Horses. Pegi Young, who fronts her own band the Survivors, will also perform. -
Depeche Mode's Martin Gore Calls For Donations To Ebola Outbreak
Today, Sept. 12, Depeche Mode's Martin Gore released a brief video through the Direct Relief organization's Youtube page concerning the Ebola virus epidemic in West Africa. In the video, Gore calls for increased support in Direct Relief's efforts to suppress the epidemic, and provides a link through the Depeche Mode website where people can donate to the cause. Gore will personally match each donation himself, up to $50,000. -

Chris Brown is now using his past anger management issues, such as his altercation with Rihanna, to dish out advice to Ray Rice and explain how he deals with handling his own anger. As AllHipHop points out Brown and Rihanna's infamous 2009 Grammy night fight resulted in probation and eventually lead to jail time and negative headlines for years. In his recently interview with MTV's Sway Calloway, the "Loyal" singer addressed the issue and dished out some advice to Rice, who is in a similar situation after footage of him hitting his wife surfaced.
