It seems as though Pabst Blue Ribbon beer has finally accepted its place in American indie culture with the announcement of Project Pabst, a three-day music festival in Portland, Oregon. The festival will take place across various venues in Portland from September 26-28 and will feature sets from Modest Mouse (who are based in Portland), Tears For Fears, Guided By Voices, and Violent Femmes. The Wu-Tang Clan's GZA is also scheduled to appear, and will be performing his 1995 solo album Liquid Swords in its entirety. -
