  • Pitbull and Ke$ha take top Digital Downloads spot with 'Timber,' followed tightly by Eminem's 'The Monster

For once, the album sales for the previous week made more headlines than the digital downloads, but that doesn't mean that singles are doing badly at all. In fact, after just declaring last week that Eminem's "The Monster" could hold down the top spot for weeks to come, a new track took its place.

  • One Direction wins Black Friday album sales race, Eminem and Garth Brooks place high, Katy Perry returns

We've been real downers for the last couple months with regards to album sales. If you haven't read the news, music sales are down across nearly every format (aside from vinyl), and this has reflected in new releases too, even with some of the biggest stars. • Best Coast release new video for 'This Lonely Morning' via Funny or Die

Best Coast has released a new lyric video, via Funny or Die, for the track "This Lonely Morning." It features Bethany Cosentino and Bobb Bruno playing tennis and really looking the part, in their own way. Wardrobe was on top of it. Not everyone plays tennis in thigh-high stockings and a plaid skirt, but of course Cosentino can pull it off. The song is from the band's recent mini-album Fade Away.

  • Maynard James Keenan's birthday party: Puscifer, A Perfect Circle and Failure to play L.A. in May

Maynard James Keenan has made an announcement and yes-it will be a concert compiling performances from bands he's been involved with but no-Tool will not be involved. So as grumbly as we are about that last aspect, it still sounds like a pretty sweet gig. We shouldn't complain about shows involving both A Perfect Circle and Puscifer (plus Failure). The show will go down at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on May 10 (his real birthday is April 17). Tickets will go on sale Friday, although prices haven't been released as of yet.

Lorde has released the video "Team" off her debut album Pure Heroine.
