    A new album from electronic indie darling Grimes may see the light of day as soon as September. The "Oblivion" musician took to her official Twitter account on Tuesday, Jan. 7, claiming that her sophomore effort would be released on Sept. 9.

    Rumors and whisperings about the future have been echoing around the internet for a few weeks following drummer Joey Jordison's departure, his insistence that he didn't quit, and no one in the band's camp being willing to explain why he wasn't in the band any longer. The most dire rumor is that the band was slowly falling apart: It hasn't released an album since 2008's All Hope Is Gone, bassist Paul Gray died during 2010, and Jordison is considered one of the integral parts of the nine-member outfit.

    Odd Future Rapper Earl Sweatshirt has announced 2014 UK tour dates as part of a larger world tour. According to NME, the rapper will take the global Wearled Tour across Europe, America and Australia during the first quarter of the year. In March, the he will hit the U.K. for a string of shows.

    Angel Olsen's Burn Your Fire for No Witness isn't coming out until February 18th, 2014, but she's already releasing a sneak peak at her second single, "Hi-Five." Produced by John Congleton under Jagjaguwar, it's her same trademark vocals, but with the newer guitar sound we heard on the single "Forgiven/Forgotten."

    Dennis Rodman isn't the only American entertainer that's been in North Korea recently. According to The Guardian, aspiring DC rappers Pacman and Peso have released a new music video that was filmed under the radar there, appropriately dubbed "Escape to North Korea." The rappers had barely been outside their own communities in Washington DC before deciding to head to the country known for rocky relations with America.

    Apparently it wasn't supposed to be revealed quite yet, but with a leaked teaser video, it's now known that Fall Out Boy and Paramore will be hitting the road together this year on what they are calling Monumentour.
  • Jason Aldean announces tour with baseball stadium plans; Music Times chooses the best bet stadiums for a show

    Jason Aldean recently dropped plans for his 2014 headlining tour, and it's going to be a big one. The performer was on Good Morning America when he announced a run that would include nearly 50 dates, and a baseball theme to boot. The country star played stadium shows at Chicago's Wrigley Field and Boston's Fenway Park (as well as the University of Georgia's Sanford Stadium) during 2013, and through a deal with Major League Baseball, Aldean plans on doing more of the same during 2013.
