    Things were looking good for internet radio station Pandora back in September, when it won a monumental victory over performing rights organization ASCAP (American Association of Composers, Authors and Publishers). However, when they brought more-or-less the same suit against P.R.O. BMI (Broadcast Music, Inc.), a judge ruled the opposite.

    Fans of classic rock supergroup The Faces may have to cool their jets for the time being. Vocalist Rod Stewart has mentioned in the last few months that he and guitarist Ronnie Wood were ready reunite the group for a tour during 2014, but other members of the band aren't so hot on the idea.

  • Chicago blues player Eric 'Guitar' Davis murdered

    Blues guitarist Eric "Guitar" Davis was shot to death yesterday in the South Shore neighborhood of Chicago. According to the Sun Times, Chicago police found the 41-year-old son of drumming great Bobby "Top Hat" Davis shot multiple times behind the wheel of a car around 5:20 a.m. Davis was pronounced dead on the scene.

    New York electro-pop duo Phantogram are gearing up for the February 18 release of their highly anticipated sophomore LP, Voices, via Republic Records. They recently released the album's lead single "Fall in Love," which is sitting at No. 1 on Spotify's Viral Chart. Now they're back with a video for the single "Black Out Days," off this fall's self-titled EP, which landed in the Top 10 of one of our staffer's Best of 2013 playlist and will also be included on February's releease.
