Billie Eilish drew in a mix of reactions after a camera man filmed her seemingly complaining about too many TikTokers at the 2024 People's Choice Awards over the weekend.

It is unclear whether the "What Was I Made For" hitmaker said, "There's some like... TikTokers here" or "There's so many TikTokers here," but it still caused quite a stir online.

According to reports, Bryce Hall, a TikTok star, took to the platform to address Eilish's comment about their presence at the awarding event: "First of, Billie Eilish, I am so sorry that I didn't acknowledge your greatness and bow down to you."

The social media influencer mockingly bowed to Eilish in his video before explaining why there were TikTokers at the event.

Bryce Hall Calls Out Billie Eilish Over TikTokers Comments

Elsewhere in his TikTok video, Hall revealed that People's Choice Awards producers "personally" invited social media influencers to the event.

"The most sad thing is I was a Billie Eilish stan. I stanned you Billie Eilish. And now I don't think I can renegade to any of your songs anymore," Hall added.

However, Hall's video was met with negative comments as well. "He must've felt attacked, aww. He did the same thing when Ariana talked about TikTokkers going out to Saddle Ranch during the pandemic. Sorry that the shoe fit, but it's really not that deep. And Billie, a Grammy and Oscar award-winning artist, doesn't know you nor care to," one wrote.

"He was trying to be funny, he wasn't funny."

"She doesn't even know him. You'd think she said his name on the video," a fan pointed out.

Billie Eilish Gets Netizens Support

Despite TikTokers coming out to express their disappointment and dismay towards the "Bad Guy" hitmaker's comments about their attendance, netizens applauded her for pointing it out.

There has been some animosity over social media influencers' presence at award shows and even the Met Gala.

Many complained about social media stars, like James Charles, Addison Rae, NikkieTutorials, and more attending the Met Gala a couple of years back, which is why they are no longer invited, Time reported.

"Met Gala is actually losing its exclusivity... I don't know how they can have these boring YouTubers and D-list celebrities walking around like it's The Kids Choice Awards," one pointed out about the influx of influencers in events like the Met Gala.
