Ne-Yo is "So Sick" of being dragged into the headlines thanks to his ex-wife, Cryal Renay. After another round of her sharing details about her life post-divorce, he decided to weigh in.
"With grace and gratitude! I choose me.... Every time," Renay wrote in an Instagram caption with a screenshot of her exclusive interview with People Magazine.
"Congratulations," the "Miss Independent" singer sarcastically commented beneath the post, Page Six reports.
The exchange came two years after their divorce. Renay filed for divorce in August 2022 after six years of marriage, claiming he cheated on her with "numerous" women and fathered children outside their marriage.
Ne-Yo's Ex-Wife Refuses to 'Drag' Him
In her interview with People Magazine, Renay clarified that she does not want to "drag him or talk negative about him," noting that she is"grateful to God for His prediction."
"Sometimes we can't see the bigger picture and what may or may not be for us and in this situation, clearly it wasn't a place for me to be in any longer, and I'm OK with that," the actress said.
"I'm happy for myself because I chose my self-worth. I chose to stand up for myself and walk away from something that just wasn't serving me any longer."
Ne-yo and Renay share three children: Shaffer Chimere Jr., 7; Roman Alexander-Raj, 5; and Isabella Rose, 2.
Despite admitting that the singer was not a faithful husband to her, she "trusts" him to be a father to their children.
"We communicate as far as pickups drop off all of the regular day-to-day things and stuff," Renay explained about their co-parenting strategy.
"I trust him to be a father, so I allow him to have his time with his children and vice versa. I personally keep it separate."

Ne-Yo Cheated on Crystal Renay?
According to Buzzfeed, court documents showed that Ne-Yo fathered two children while he was still married to the actress.
"8 years. 8 years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and my husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected...every last one of them!" Renay wrote at the time, accusing the "She Knows" hitmaker of cheating on her.
