It will include previously unheard tracks, one of which is the single, entitled "Recovery."

This song is slated to drop on April 26th, per the announcement. A portion of the said song was already released on YouTube in the past when the singer was still alive, and it quickly went viral. Fans demanded for a full version, and the late singer's team has now made it happen.

"I understand why the RECOVERY album didn't see the light of day for almost 10 years," songwriter and producer Aaron Pearce, who worked on the said album, shared on Instagram.

"There is a bigger purpose for it now. Aaron would be so grateful that his story lived beyond the tragedy bringing awareness and hope to future generations," he added.

Aaron Carter Death

It can be remembered that back on November 2022, the adolescent singer of "Aaron's Party" was discovered dead in his bathtub in Lancaster, California.

Authorities ultimately determined that Carter had inadvertently drowned subsequent to ingesting compressed difluoroethane and consuming Xanax.

Carter was upfront about his battles with substance misuse throughout his life. He also talked a lot about his addiction to inhaling compressed air, which he said started when he was just 16 years old.

Carter entered himself for the fifth time on a rehab one month before he was found in his bathroom.

At the time, he was pouring his efforts to reclaim custody of Prince, who was 10 months old, according to US Sun.

Carter was pulled over by the LAPD a few days after his death on suspicion of DUI, although he was eventually found not guilty.

A trust for Aaron's son will benefit from a share of the posthumous Carter album's sales.

In 2023, the documentary "Aaron Carter: The Little Prince of Pop," produced by ABC News Studios, which tells the story of the famous singer, was released on Hulu.

Carter was a mainstay of the early 2000s pop scene, touring the world as a solo artist with hits like "I Want Candy."

However, a few years after his rise to fame, he started to struggle with addiction, family strife, and mental health issues, which ultimately led to his death in November 2022.
