Many young female fans remember the purity rings that brothers Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas displayed proudly in 2008 because it meant they were abstaining from sex until marriage. Well, Nick has taken his ring off and says he's done with all that jazz.

"This is a real growth in me and not something I'm doing anymore," he said during an interview with HuffPost Live. "But I've got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life and that's all that matters. I've had an incredibly intense journey with faith and religion and my own growth. My belief in God is still very strong and important to me as a person and I think that's all that should matter. I grew up in a church environment and still have love for the church."

Nick seems to be following in the footsteps of brother Joe, who told Vulture in 2013 that he lost his V card when he was 20.

Currently, Nick has been riding high on the popularity of his single "Jealous," which features girlfriend Olivia Culpo in the music video. His second solo release, a self-titled effort, will be released Nov. 11. The singer put out his first solo record in 2004 and joined up with The Administration for an album in 2010.

Last month, Nick told Time about his career aspirations. "My goal is to be the kind of performer that can be in movies and television shows, like the show Kingdom I'm doing now," he said. "Be in that and have a career in that, but also do my music. Both are a form of my artistry and it's a shame that sometimes you're limited to one. A lot of people feel like you have to focus on one at a time, but I want to be greedy and do both. I hope I can. I look at people like Elvis, who did both, and it was amazing. There's a million examples of people who have made the transition from one to the other, but I'd love to be able to do both and make an impact in both."

Kingdom will premiere this fall on the DirecTV Network and will have Nick in the role of a young MMA fighter.
