    Electronic art-pop oddball Grimes has dropped the dreamy new video for her 'Art Angels single.' "California." It looks like it was an absolute blast to film: the Canadian, born Claire Boucher, plays dress-up and channels the likes of Dolly Parton and old-school Hollywood starlets with the help of friends including Megan James of Purity Ring, frequent collaborator HANA, Cecil Frena of Born Gold, model Eric Cheng, and her brother Mac Boucher.

    Purity Ring has been on the road almost non-stop since April in support of their sophomore album Another Eternity and they have no plans to take a break anytime soon. The Canadian duo announced a new batch of tour dates on their expansive world takeover. The duo will touch down on three different continents over the next six months, hitting countries like Australia, France, Belgium, England and the United States, where they will tour extensively this fall.

The duo's other half, Corin Roddick, is nowhere to be found.

    Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring have announced tour dates for Europe and North America in support of their new, upcoming album "Another Eternity." According to "Pitchfork," the tour kicks off in Brussels, Belgium, April 8 and hits North America May 18 with a show in Salt Lake City, Utah. The tour finishes June 19 in Oakland, California.   • Purity Ring Announce Album 'Another Eternity,' Share Track 'Begin Again' [LISTEN]

    Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring have announced the release of their highly anticipated sophomore album "Another Eternity" and have shared a new track from the album titled "Begin Again," which you can check out below. The album is set for release March 3 through 4AD and will be the duo's first album since their 2012 debut "Shrines." According to a press release, via "Consequence of Sound," "Another Eternity" marks the first time Purity Ring members Megan James and Corin Roddick had recorded while in the same room, as "Shrines" was recorded in a long distance Postal Service-style between their respective homes in Halifax, Nova Scotia, and Montreal, Quebec. The press release also describes Roddick's "percussive skills and sense of composition" as having been "refined and honed," resulting in an album that explores "gloomy valleys and gleaming peaks in equal measure."   • Purity Ring Shares 'Push Pull' from Upcoming Album [LISTEN]

    Canadian synthpop duo Purity Ring has shared a new song titled "Push Pull," which you can check out below. Like the previous Purity Ring singles, "Push Pull" is entirely electronic — with the exception of Megan James's vocals, of course — and seems to bridge the gap between indy electronica and Top 40 pop, with a beat that could easily support a verse by Nicki Minaj, if she were so inclined. The track was shared with some animated artwork by Russian artist Renata Raksha, though it is not exactly a music video. You can check out Purity Ring's "Push Pull" here:
