Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert's marriage has been subject to rumors of divorce for more than a year now. He is often accused of making a misstep while partying a little too hard and after the media screams divorce Lambert will usually be quoted, saying something to at least try and shoot things down. One thing that is definitely true though is the fact that these two are rarely together. Both Lambert and Shelton decided to tour this past summer and at one point she admitted that their tour buses often travel in opposite directions on the same highways and all of that space between them isn't a good thing.
Now that Shelton is back in L.A. working on The Voice it just means more time apart too because Lambert hates the whole Hollywood scene and refuses to tag along while he works on the left coast. She also decided to whip herself into shape about a year ago and now lives a clean lifestyle that includes a serious diet and no booze. Shelton still drinks like a fish and has no intention of sobering up the way that his wife has and that means that even when they are together they no longer relax in the same ways.
Sources claim that thanks to all of the literal distance between them and the way that they have gradually grown apart rather than bonded together, this marriage is fairly doomed. While in the past Lambert has insisted that divorce is not an option for her at all, sources believe that she is beginning to see things differently. Lambert is starting to want to settle in and have babies but she is wise enough to realize that her husband isn't father-material just yet.
