There was a point when Lady Gaga was the hottest live act on the planet. Now she may have to add Tony Bennett to the bill to earn that status but we're certainly not complaining. The duo announced an extra trio of dates on Monday in support of their album Cheek to Cheek, according to Billboard

It's a lengthy wait however. Gaga and Bennett will perform May 30 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, a June 8 gig at Royal Albert Hall in London and then June 19 at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. Tickets for both shows will go on sale in one week on November 3. And if previous dates are any indication, you'd better be ready to go as soon as the queue opens. The pair's previously announced shows, in Las Vegas for New Year's Eve and then a Los Angeles gig following the Grammys, only needed a few minutes to sell out all tickets. Expect the new shows to do the same.

Based on what promoter Live Nation is promising, the show will be worth fighting for. The performers will have a jazz ensemble as well as a full orchestra for the show.

If you haven't managed to get tickets for the five shows announced thus far (and you could be forgiven considering the demand), there are rumors that Gaga and Bennett may take to the festival circuit during the summer of 2015. Not just any festivals however: jazz festivals. Hollywood Reporter indicates that the pair might headline as many as a dozen such events. We feel sympathy for the everyday jazz fans who will inevitably be swamped by little monsters on the day of the performance...but then again they'll get to see Lady Gaga and Tony Bennett so it won't be that bad.
