Nick Jonas is gearing up for the release of his upcoming solo debut album. Following the release of his new single "Teacher," Jonas has teamed up with Tinashe for a remix to "Jealous."

The two recently appeared on 106 & Park and performed the revamped single.

"It's an amazing song to begin with, so obviously it was one that I wanted to be a part of, so he just reached out to see if I was down to be on the remix and I was like, 'Absolutely,'" Tinashe said of the collaboration.

"It kinda breathed new life into the song," added Nick. "The minute I heard she was gonna do it, I was in the car and '2 On' came on."

Earlier this week, Jonas released another single, "Teacher," from his debut. As previously reported, "Teacher" is the fifth single to be shared from Nick Jonas's upcoming, self-titled solo album, following "Wilderness," "Numb" featuring Angel Haze, "Jealous" and "Chains." The album is set for release Nov. 11.

Considering it will be Jonas's first solo album since the breakup of the Jonas Brothers in 2013, fans can expect a different sound from the former boy band member.

"It was a really important thing for me to step into my soul and R&B influences on this record," he said during his BET visit. "When I was working with my brothers, I didn't really get to do that as much, but I had the freedom to just go in and create and experiment."

Jonas says he was heavily influenced by Prince, Stevie Wonder, Frank Ocean and The Weeknd.
