Lady Gaga's highly anticipated new album, ARTPOP, is streaming in full a week ahead of its official release date. ARTPOP is officially scheduled to drop Nov. 8 via Interscope Records. It is the pop star's third album, the follow up to 2011's Born This Way.
The first single released off the album was "Applause." She then shared the track "Swine" during the iTunes Festival back in August. At the beginning of October, she shared "Aura" in a clip for the Machete Kills trailer. After a Twitter contest asking fans to guess her second single, Gaga revealed that Venus would be the follow up to "Applause." Her track, "Do What U Want" was featured on a Best Buy commercial, then eventually became another single. She performed the track "Gypsy" at a show in Berlin before beginning a three week series in which she would release a single each week. Fans got the full version of "Do What U Want" "Venus" and the single "Dope," which she also played at the YouTube Music Awards on Sunday night.
Finally, the album is available in its entirety. The pop star teamed up with Jeff Koons for the album artwork and collaborated with R. Kelly ("Do What U Want"), T.I., Too Short and Twista ("Jewels N' Drugs") as well as EDM producers Zedd and Madeon.
Gaga told iHeartRado that ARTPOP would be a thematic departure from past albums. "My other records were more concept albums than about the subject matter, whereas ARTPOP is more about a philosophy of love."
