First, Macklemore made buying clothes and goods at the "Thrift Shop" look cool, and now he's looking to help his fans save even more money by doing some good ol' fashioned dumpster diving. Yes, he's talking about shopping in the garbage. Today (Jan. 12), Macklemore teamed up with Sesame Street's Grouches to parody his breakout The Heist single, with a few twists thrown in.

Macklemore (deemed "Mucklemore"), Oscar the Grouch and another fuzzy green Muppet "pop some trash" in the "Thrift Shop" parody, making the song even more nasty than original - albeit very kid friendly.

"I'm gonna pop some trash / Only got seven bags in my trash can / I'm shopping, looking for some rubbish / This is gross and awesome," the Grouches sing, subbing in for Wanz, before Mucklemore can take the reigns.

"Wouldn't you love to rock some fish on your noodle / Wouldn't you like to wear the kit and caboodle? / Do you have a skunk smell with the broom pit? / One man's trash is another grouch's outfit," he spits.

Macklemore and the Muppets take on the streets of Sesame, looking smelly and messy, which is obviously the point.

This may be the first time that Macklemore has appeared on Sesame Street, but the Seattle rapper probably has a lot of the show in store for his future. Earlier this month, the rapper announced that he and his fiancée Tricia Davis are expecting their first child together. The baby is expected sometime in May.
