Wiz Khalifa celebrated his son's Bash's birthday yesterday, Feb. 21. Unfortunately, Bash was not with his father for the festivities due to the rapper's recent split from wife Amber Rose. Khalifa took to Twitter to post about Bash's birthday, getting a little emotional since he was not able to celebrate with his son. He then wrote a few tweets about the divorce, claiming to have never cheated on Rose, XXL noted.
Khalifa is currently in a custody battle with Rose, and, by the sound of things, he is having a rough time with the whole process.
"I've never voiced my true unhappiness out of fear of the person I was with and what she would do to make me more unhappy of anyone knew," he wrote. "We need to talk to each other more and empower each other to peruse our own happiness because the illusion is strong."
He went on to say that he never cheated on his former wife, which was the reason for the split in the first place. Khalifa followed with a tweet about the importance of family.
"I always kept my views on family and stability clear and stood by them just as I do anything else I feel strongly about," he wrote.
Rose said that getting back together with Khalifa was not out of the question in a recent interview with The Breakfast Club.
