Last year, Diplo created a Kickstarter to "Get Taylor Swift A Booty." Although some were amused by the mean-spirited fundraiser, Lorde called the DJ out for it. Fortunately that didn't end his friendship with the "Yellow Flicker Beat" singer; however, it did incite an army of Tayor Swift fans to lash out at him online. In a new interview with British GQ Style (via MTV) he said that he regrets the day he ever messed with the "Style" singer and compared the Swifties to the army of North Korea.

"All I know is, don't ever get into a feud with Taylor Swift," he lamented. "She has like 50 million people that will die for her. It's like an army that's worse than North Korea. You can't step into that arena."

He concluded: "That was something I was never prepared for... one of the biggest mistakes of my career was definitely fucking with her."

The DJ, who is actual a fan of Swift's music, first addressed the situation in an interview with GQ back in January, explaining that he began to get death threats and became fearful of the power Swift holds over her loyal fans.

"Taylor Swift fans are really crazy," he told them. "They threatened to murder me and stuff. It's really bizarre, and disgusting. They're the worst people in the world. And I'm a pretty big fan. But they're like 'I wish your kids had Down syndrome.' They're so evil. I dissed Lady Gaga before, and the gays were never even this mean. They're funny. These people are like mean-spirited, evil human beings.

"I'm not a politician. I shouldn't have to be under the microscope for people like that. She has like forty million Twitter fans. Forty million! Yeah. It's crazy. I'm a fan though. Her powers-she's big. She's strong, bro. Taylor Swift is very strategic with her friends and enemies. And I know lots of secrets. I can't divulge, but I know a lot of stuff about her. And she's definitely, there's definitely scary stuff going on. And I'm scared. I'm scared for my life."

Although Diplo might still have beef with the Swifties, Swift apparently decided to "Shake It Off" and bury the hatchet. He posted a photo to Instagram (see above) with the singer at the Grammys last month, with the caption, "Then this happened @taylorswift vs taylor spliff #grammys2015."
