Suge Knight is facing charges of murder and attempted murder following a January incident where he allegedly ran over Cle "Bone" Sloan and Terry Carter. Knight claimed he tried leaving the scene when two men instigated an altercation. Recent remarks by Sloan that he was attacking Knight may validate the former Death Row Records head's self-defense claims, the (New York) Daily News noted, via The Source.

Sloan told a Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department investigator that he was fighting Knight, who was in the driver's seat of his red pickup truck.

"I f**ked him up!" Sloan reportedly said.

He also said he punched Knight through the driver's-side window, which is why Knight could not exit his vehicle.

TMZ, which broke the story, received video footage of the incident that will undoubtedly be a big part of the trial. It is difficult to watch, but it does shed some light on how everything went down. Check it out below.

According to initial reports, the altercation occurred near a promotional shoot for the new N.W.A biopic Straight Outta Compton. The video footage was actually captured by a security camera in the parking lot of Tam's Burgers in Compton.

"There is no question that Suge Knight was physically assaulted by four men. They ran to his car. He opened his window on the driver's side. They physically punched him, grabbed him and tried to get him out of the car at the same time they threatened to kill him," Knight's attorney, James Blatt, said in a statement previously.

Blatt has also claimed that Knight is legally blind in one eye. Knight is currently awaiting trial in jail. His bail was revoked.
