A chart-topping single isn't the only achievement Katy Perry can expect with a new LP: the pop princess can also hope to attain that key million records sold status. Now, the "Unconditionally" songstress has done just that with her new album Prism.

According to Billboard, Perry's latest album just surpassed the one million mark this week. After Prism moved 51,000 copies last week, the albums cumulative total came to 1.02 million in just 11 weeks.

The million tally for Prism seemed to be an inevitability. The record debuted at No. 1 upon its Oct. 15 release date with 286,000 copies sold, the best debut for a solo female artist in 2013 until Beyoncé's self-titled album came about in December. Since then, Prism has been a mainstay in the Billboard 200's top 10, coming in at No. 4 this week (in between Eminem's MMLP2 and Lorde's Pure Heroine).

The record was also largely helped by its lead single "Roar," which hit the top spot of the Billboard Hot 100 for two weeks.

The album's second single "Unconditionally" was a more mild success, peaking at No. 14, though the third promotional track "Dark Horse" galloped into the top 10 of the charts this week (and received some official artwork!).

Prism marks Perry's third platinum effort, following 2008's One Of The Boys and 2010's Teenage Dream.
