There's some new music from Lana Del Rey on the way, courtesy of the soundtrack to the upcoming Blake Lively film The Age of Adaline. Today (April 22) a new trailer for the movie arrived online, with a brand new song from the "Young & Beautiful" singer, entitled "Life is Beautiful."

The song follows Del Rey's blueprint of being hauntingly beautiful and playing quietly underneath the action of a film trailer. As scenes of an ageless Lively play across the screen, Del Rey compliments her with how "Life is Beautiful."

"Don't be that way / Don't you pretend / You're not awake / You're soul's on fire / I don't believe / This is the end," she sings in the opening bars with layered vocals and the small twinkle of strings underneath. "Life is still so beautiful," she sings in the chorus, giving the song its title.

Just like Del Rey and Lively's Adaline, it's haunting, gorgeous, timeless and somehow still so bittersweet. Listen to the Age of Adaline soundtrack song "Life is Beautiful" below:

"Life is Beautiful" from The Age of Adaline is just the latest Del Rey contribution to a film soundtrack. In recent years, her music has also decorated The Great Gatsby ("Young & Beautiful"), Maleficent ("Once Upon a Dream") and Big Eyes ("Big Eyes," "I Can Fly").

The Age of Adaline will arrive in theatres on Friday, April 24. Though the snippet has now given fans a taste of "Life is Beautiful," the full song has yet to receive an official on-sale date.
