One Direction's "Story Of My Life" continues to comfortably sit in the top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100, but the prolific British-Irish boy band is already prepping the follow-up single. Yesterday (Jan. 24), band member Liam Payne announced the third single from 1D's new album Midnight Memories will be none other than... "Midnight Memories."
He made the official song announcement via YouTube.
"So our next single is actually going to be 'Midnight Memories,' which is actually one of the songs I wrote with Louis," Payne said. "This is the first song we wrote on the album, so it's kind of paved the way for the album's sound - the way it changed. It's a big, big tune. It's all about the midnight memories; everyone's got them. I hope you enjoy it."

The music video for "Midnight Memories" will debut this Friday (Jan. 31). But before that hits, Directioners can hype themselves up for the music video on One Direction's tumblr with gifs and photos from the official visual (like the one seen above).
"Midnight Memories" will be the third official single from the album of the same name. The feelgood track "Best Song Ever" and the super folky "Story Of My Life" were the album's first two official releases.
