Unfortunately, Chance the Rapper has canceled his upcoming tour dates due to illness. He also released a remix of Jeremih's "Planes."

Chance's reps recently made the announcement via Twitter, citing the artist's ailing health.

As noted by XXL, there is no itemized list of shows that will be canceled or postponed.

News of the show cancellation comes almost exactly a year after Chance had to make a similar change to his schedule. Last April, he actually ended up in the hospital, suffering from a combination of tonsillitis and the flu. His illness caused the Acid Rap rhymer to miss his performance at the second weekend of Coachella.

According to a press release, Chance previously suffered from a 104-degree fever and inflammation of his throat.

The Chicago rapper's next record is expected to be Surf, a project of The Social Experiment, a Chicago-born collection of singers and musicians.

"Surf is (the Social Experiment member) Nico's project," Chance told FADER. "He was working on it when we decided to be the Social Experiment, so we decided that his project should be first...Every record has like 50 people on it," Chance continued. "The idea is to make a singular, four-minute-and-30-second song that feels like a year's worth of music."

Earlier this month, the collective released the visuals for "Sunday Candy." More recently, they released a remix of Jeremih's "Planes."

No word on when to expect Chance's highly anticipated debut album. Stay tuned for more updates on Chance the Rapper's canceled shows and let us know your thoughts in the comment section below.
