Life goes on for One Direction, even as former member Zayn Malik feuds with Louis Tomlinson. The "Night Changes" band has already booked its first late night talk show appearance post-split, but now they're heading back to the award's show circuit. Today (May 8), it was announced that remaining 1D members Tomlinson, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan will be appearing at this month's Billboard Music Awards 2015.

Unfortunately for fans of the boy band, One Direction will not be joining Ed Sheeran, Meghan Trainor, Kelly Clarkson, Britney Spears, Iggy Azalea and more as live performers. Instead, the foursome will be presenting an award, Billboard reports.

The appearance, set to take place on Sunday, May 17, will be One Direction's first red carpet and award show event since Malik left the band in March. It won't be the band's first TV appearance, however. The boys are scheduled to appear on The Late Late Show with James Corden on May 14.

Despite the departure of one of its founding members, 1D has continued with business as usual over the last month and a half. The band is continuing its On The Road Again Tour overseas, with North American tour dates set to begin on July 9 in San Diego. One Direction is also in the studio working on its fifth studio album, writing with the likes of Jamie Scott (who also helped to pen hits "You & I," "Story of My Life," "Midnight Memories" and more).
