The Country Music Television Awards has announced the first wave of performers that will appear at the show on June 10, including Carrie Underwood, Luke Bryan, Jason Aldean and Florida Georgia Line. Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban and Lady Antebellum are also slated to appear. The show will continue to announce performers up until the broadcast, and the actual host is expected to be revealed soon.

Underwood is probably the biggest name on the lineup, as this will be her first live appearance since giving birth in March. She's also the most nominated performer at the event-with five—which is especially impressive considering that she hasn't released an album since 2012 and her current single "Little Toy Guns" has only peaked at no. 11 on the U.S. Country charts. Two of the awards potentially on her plate are for "Video of The Year," which she has already won five times...including the last three. Other nominations roll in for Female Video of The Year and one for collaborative video of the year.

Other popular nominees include Chesney and Lady Antebellum (both with four nominations), while Florida Georgia Line, Aldean and Miranda Lambert snagged three nominations. If we had to pick another performer to be added to the lineup soon, we'd suggest Lambert, whose "Little Red Wagon" video has kept eyes glued on country music videos.

One of the exciting aspects about the CMT Awards that separates it from other live broadcasts is its interactive voting method. While many shows take fan voting into account when giving away music awards, CMT keeps things suspenseful by allowing voting to continue throughout the night to the end of the ceremony. Literally no one knows going in who will take home the Video of The Year prize.

Once again the show will take place from Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.
