During his performance at this year's Hot 97 Summer Jam, Meek Mill made an announcement that fans have been waiting for. The Philly rapper revealed that his highly anticipated Dreams Worth More Than Money album will be released in June.
Meek Mill's sophomore release was originally slated to drop last year but an untimely prison stint led to its delay. As HipHopDX notes, songs such as "Check," "B-Boy" and "Monster" have already been released as singles from the album. The MMG rapper did not clarify what day in June his album can be expected.
His set included a live rendition of "I'mma Boss," "Monster" and "Levels." Meek Mill also brought out his girlfriend, Nicki Minaj, to perform "Only" and "Truffle Butter."
In May, he released a video for a freestyle over Drake's "Energy" with cameos from Minaj and Dej Loaf, who he will be touring with this summer. Minaj's North American leg of her Pinkprint tour, featuring Mill, Loaf, Tinashe and Rae Sremmurd, kicks off in Dallas on July 17 with stops in Miami, Brooklyn, Toronto, Atlanta and Denver. The "Pinkprint" tour will also make its way to Vancouver.
