Today is Young Thug's birthday and in honor of the occasion, he's dropping a new track, "Again," and accompanying music video this evening at 5:55 PM (EDT). The new track will feature Gucci Mane. Who knows, maybe Gucci was granted temporary release for a spot in the video. "Again" is produced by London on da Track and will appear on he and Thug's upcoming collaborative mixtape, Slime Season.
UPDATE: Thugger made good on his promise this time. Watch the full "Again" video below. Thugger has been fairly quiet on social media since the feds raided his house and slapped him with charges of domestic terrorism. Now, when he does speak, fans can expect something exciting. He announced the upcoming birthday treat yesterday on Instagram.

Today, he shared a clip of the video, the full release of which is coming just before 6 PM. The clip starts with Thug dressed in overalls slinking around in a rather haunting red room. We then see women in their undergarments cooking drugs and the last shot shows shows Thug and Metro Boomin, aka Metro Thuggin, seated next to a shrine of Gucci. Perhaps that will be the only incarnation of La Flare we get in the new video. Regardless, it looks like a must watch.

Thug announced Slime Season in early June and a few weeks later, gave it a July 4 release date. He then pushed the release back indefinitely and told fans "Sorry 4 the Wait!" He said he would still drop "Again" on July 3, though he didn't make good on that promise either, instead giving fans "First Up." Though it seems "First Up" will be a Slime Season track, it features production from Goose and not London (at least to our best knowledge). The snippets of "Again" (now verified as the same song played on Thug's new Instagram) that have hit the web have real hit potential. We can hear some GuWop on the song, but only some ad-libs underneath Thug's rapping. Thug also just reminded fans not to forget about Slime Season. The release of "Again" should signal its imminent release.

The Metro Boomin cameo in the new video is interesting as he and Thug teamed up dropped an ode to Gucci, "Free Gucci," earlier this year. The song, a one-off and free download released on Gucci's bday, remains one of Thug's hottest tracks of the year.
