If you've ever wanted Kanye West to have a bit of a nerdier, alt-rock edge or for Weezer to get a little more credit on the streets, well, your best wishes have come true. Introducing, the 10-track mashup album, fittingly titled Yeezer.

Ohio State University sophomore Alex Hodowanec became a Weezer fan shortly after the band's prime, and his friends jokingly talked to him about the name "Yeezer." What started out as a joke, however, turned in to a brilliant mashup album that Hodowanec just had to execute.

"The first song I started working on was the first song on the album -- which is Kanye's song through the 'Through The Wire' mixed with 'Beverly Hills.' I just kind of figured 'Beverly Hills' was the most iconic Weezer song. It was really just a matter of finding songs that had similar feels and tempos from that point on," he said in an interview with Radio.com. "Once that first song clicked, I thought, you might as well just go for nine more, right?"

In addition to the "Through the Wire" and "Beverly Hills" mashup, other Yeezer cuts include "Back to Nothing" ("Back to the Shack" with "Can't Tell Me Nothing"), "(And They) Say It Ain't So"("Say It Ain't So" with "Power") and "The Buddy Holly Workout Plan" ("Buddy Holly" and "The New Workout Plan").

The album has been in the works for a few years and was uploaded (and removed) from Bandcamp lasdt week. But, it's found a new home on Audiomack.
