Despite growing up in the public eye and living a life of luxury, things aren't always easy for Kylie Jenner. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is Elle Canada's December cover girl and in the issue she opens up about personal insecurities she deals with on a daily basis, her decision to get lip injections, and the importance of being a good role model.

Behind the glamorous red carpet outfits and on-call makeup team, lies a young woman who battles with some of the same struggles a lot of children and young adults deal with today. The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner dynasty revealed she's been fighting off bullies since she was a young girl.

While grateful for the opportunity to become a reality star and social media sensation, she admits the lifestyle comes with a price. Judgements and critiques come at her from every angle, sometimes forcing her to avoid reading the comments of her posts. Luckily, Jenner learned to accept the constant criticism and use it as a tool to toughen her skin.

"If you're different or if you think something about you is just weird and out of the ordinary, I just think that's so dope," Jenner said in her anti-bullying video for Elle Canada. "I still feel insecure all the time. I feel like it's just a part of being a human being...I just learned normal is very boring."

Jenner also revealed there have been times where she's come across hurtful comments under her social media posts, causing it to affect the rest of her day. The negativity has only made the 18-year-old businesswoman stronger and she's looking to help others get through the pains of bullying. Jenner created an anti-bullying campaign called #IAmMoreThan, in hopes of sharing stories of people around the world who have faced bullies, as well as, explain how each victim became a hero in her eyes.

Jenner's lips have been a topic of conversation even before her first lip filler injection. She's been insecure about her lips for years, so she took it upon herself to do something about it. According to the interview, Jenner didn't think the decision to alter her lips was anyone's business so she didn't tell anyone.

Many viewers also accused Jenner of going under the knife to get her chin reconstructed, a boob job, nose job, and an eyebrow lift, but she continues to deny all allegations.

Although flattered, Jenner wants to set a good example for her fans (which includes over 41 million Instagram followers and 12 million Twitter followers). Instead of trying to emulate her look, Jenner encourages fans to embrace their individuality and love their flaws.

"I don't want to be a bad role model," Jenner told Elle Canada, according to Entertainment Tonight. "I don't want my fans to think they have to get lip fillers or look like me in any way. When I see my fans and they have blue hair or dress like me, it's really cool and makes me feel good. But I don't want them to think they have to look like me! I want to inspire them to be themselves and not listen to anybody else."
