Everything about the lead up to Coldplay's forthcoming, and possibly final, album A Head Full of Dreams  has been odd, so it would only make sense that the teaser to the "Adventure of a Lifetime" music video would follow that trend with a short clip of Chris Martin performing as a CGI chimpanzee.

The band tweeted out the brief teaser clip at noon on Thursday along with confirmation that the full music video is set for a Nov. 27 release.

In the 15-second clip, the band can be seen performing the single in black spandex suits with sensors attached to turn the Brit rockers into CGI chimps. In each corner of the screen you can see up-close shots of the band members faces as it captures their facial expressions, and of course Martin singing along to the single. The band is quickly transported to a jungle where the monkeys are performing with instruments in a cleared field. Back in the studio, you can also see Martin holding a short arm extender to give him the length of a monkey's arm.

This teaser is just the latest in a series of oddities surrounding the release. It all started with a tame debut of the single "Amazing Day" at the Global Citizen Festival, but it quickly escalated when a fan spotted the band's new album logo on the London Underground with a now confirmed December 4 album release date. That album artwork has now been accused of copying Bring Me The Horizon's album cover for the groups record Sempiternal.

A Head Full of Dreams is also just shrouded in psychedelic imagery like the band rarely evokes, making this one of the group's most anticipated and highly watched album releases in recent memory.
