A lot of different artists have gimmicks that they use during their live sets to try and interact with the crowd or make their show unique from others. Kendrick Lamar has been inviting fans on stage to rap the lyrics to his song "m.A.A.d city" for some time now and this has been executed by fans with varying degrees of success. Some of fans have been quite successful and others failed to live up to the pressure of rapping alongside K.Dot. A fan, named Sam, in Houston at Day for Night Festival got the opportunity and decided to do things a bit differently after forgetting the lyrics, taking over the song and spitting his own freestyle.

It is hard to actually hear what he says in the fan video, but it appears as though Kendrick was impressed enough by the man, who goes by the name of Corporate Dough, to allow him to do a full verse.

The story does not end with the concert in Houston. TMZ caught up with the aspiring rapper who says that his performance caught the attention of Jas Prince, CEO of Rap-A-Lot Records and after they exchanged information.

This is something that Sam won't soon forget and will probably tell the kids and grandkids about that time he rapped on stage with Kendrick Lamar. If anything comes of this it would be impressive, but Dough took the opportunity and made the most of it.

This is reminiscent of the time that an aspiring rapper caught up with Kanye West as he was walking down the street during the Grammys and rapped for him in an attempt to get a position of some sort within his organization.
