Kanye West has reached a settlement with insurance company Lloyd's of London. The rapper filed a case against the company over the sudden cancelation of his Saint Pablo tour.

In August, West and Very Good Touring filed a $10 million lawsuit against Lloyd's of London. They also claimed that the company never paid out insurance claims for their canceled shows. A few weeks after West's filing, Lloyd's of London submitted a countersuit against West and Very Good Touring.

The company said that West's reason for the cancellations were not really beyond his control. Lloyd's of London also alleged that there are substantial irregularities in West's medical history that is why the company cannot grant him insurance benefits.

At that time, West canceled the remaining 21 dates of his tour due to a serious and debilitating medical condition. In November, he also checked into a psychiatric center in Los Angeles. Lloyd's of London was also accused of insinuating that West was using marijuana that time, but a spokesperson for the company said that they never said so.

Howard King, West and Very Good Touring's attorney, recently said that the matter has been resolved amicably. Last year, it was evident that King was upset over Lloyd's of London's refusal to pay West his insurance benefits.

"Lloyd's counter-claim for declaratory relief is the same generic response Lloyd's files in all cases when they don't want to honor a legitimate claim but can't find a factual basis to deny a claim. We look forward to the day a jury awards our client the full amount of the policy he purchased, plus interest at 10 [percent] per annum, along with punitive damages," said King.

Kanye West Reactivates His Instagram Account

West also made headlines recently after he reactivated his social media account to greet his wife, Kim Kardashian, on Valentine's Day. After sharing a photo of a hand-written card for his wife, West also uploaded a series of snaps of couples who used to be together.

One of the pictures was of Kris Jenner and Robert Kardashian. The latter died several years ago after battling cancer. West also uploaded two photos with his wife. One of the pictures was taken while they were eating ice cream. Another snap was of West staring at Kardashian while she is standing outside of their car.

West and Kardashian tied the knot on May 24, 2014. They have been blessed with three children, North, Saint, and Chicago West.
