Rapper Meek Mill will need to continue to reside in a jail cell after a Pennsylvania judge once again denied the "Tupac Back" rapper his freedom.

Judge Brinkley Isn't Backing Down

On Monday, April 2, The New York Daily News reported that the judge came to a decision regarding Meek Mill, saying she was against releasing Mill from his two-to-four-year prison sentence. Judge Genece E. Brinkley also added that Mill had received proper notification regarding parole violations. However, despite calls from Mill's legal team to resign from the case, she has decided to remain the judge in this legal proceeding. She also added that Mill admitted to her in court that it was his fifth time that he violated his probation by failing to obey several travel laws and said that he used drugs as well.

What About The Rumors?

TMZ also added that there had been reports that Mill's legal team painted Judge Brinkley as a biased official. They also believe that Mill's punishment is a result of Brinkley's vendetta against the "All Eyes on You" rapper. There have been rumors that she once requested Mill, whose real name is Robert Rihmeek Williams, to re-record a Boyz II Men song and asked him to include her in a rap single. She also believes that Mill's team has been 'fabricating' claims that the Federal Bureau of Investigation had taken particular interest in this case.

"This bald allegation has no basis in reality. There is zero evidence to support this claim. The court has repeatedly told Defendant that he cannot demand special treatment just because he has chosen to be an entertainer," wrote Judge Brinkley in a statement to the New York Daily News.

Friends In Deed

While Judge Brinkley continues to deny Mill's bail request, the rapper has scored several influential allies. Pennsylvania Governor Tom Wolf has revealed that he thought that Judge Brinkley was unfairly treating Mill and encouraged the Pennsylvania General Assembly to pass the Justice Reinvestment II reforms. Also, Larry Krasner, the Pennsylvania District Attorney, has stated that he will not fight the rapper's conviction.

Fly Eagles Fly

One of the biggest stories that came out earlier this year was when the Philadelphia Eagles won the 2018 Super Bowl. Mill was one of the biggest believers in the Philadelphia Eagles and knew that they were going to win the massive football game. Mill even admitted that his song, "Dreams and Nightmares," was the unofficial anthem of the Philadelphia Eagles.
