The man who stalked Taylor Swift and threatened to harm her family has been sentenced to 10 years of probation.

Stalker Arrested

In November 2016, Frank Andrew Hoover, 39 years old, was arrested by the authority for violating the restraining order that the court granted to the "Delicate" singer against him. According to police documents, the alleged stalker followed Swift's motorcade after her concert at the Formula 1 race in Texas in October 2016 back to the airport, where a private jet picked her and her parents up.

Hoover got within 50 feet of the pop star before her bodyguards noticed and confronted him. At the time, he said that he wanted to take a photo with Swift and "possibly accompany [her] wherever she goes."

Prior to the arrest, the "End Game" singer filed a restraining order against the man in Kansas as a response to his continuous attempts to reach out to her and her family. Hoover, who seems to have a delusion that he and Swift are meant to be, has been sending e-mails to her father, Scott Swift.

In one of the messages, Hoover claimed that God himself told him to find Swift.

"Without her, I walk the earth alone forever and she'll continue to experience failed relationships that break her heart," he wrote according to TMZ.

Threatening E-Mails

In January, Hoover faced new charges after it was discovered that Scott received threatening e-mails between May 2015 to October 2016. In the e-mails, the alleged stalker threatened to kill the "Look What You Made Me Do" singer and her family.

"Decided that we are going to end all the Swifts on one day because I can't stand that virus s*** your daughter spread," Hoover said in one of the e-mails shared in the 122-page indictment, reported Fox News.

In his other messages, he called the Swift family "the evil family of devils" and signed the letter as "the end real son of god."

Probation

While he will not serve jail time, Hoover will constantly be monitored and his actions will be tracked by a GPS for at least one year. He also has to stay a mile away from Swift and her family.

In addition, the alleged stalker will undergo a complete psychological testing and substance abuse classes. He is also forced to surrender all firearms and take random drug testings. His failure to comply could send him to prison.

Taylor Swift's Stalker Problem

Two months ago, the singer's security detail was warned about a 58-year-old man from New Hampshire who claims to be Swift's boyfriend. He told authorities that he needed a gun to protect the pop star in Africa and showed texts sent to "Taylor Swift."

In March last year, another stalker, a 29-year-old man, was arrested for staling the Grammy-winning artist in New York City for months and gaining access to her building.
