Kanye West's previous interviews about mental health

In the cover story of Kim Kardashian West in the year 2019 foVogue, Kardashian said that Ye had accepted his bipolar disorder. However, the rapper chose not to treat his disorder with pharmaceuticals.

Kim Kardashian said Ye does not want to take medication as his option because he feels that it changes him. She added that they reached a 'pretty good place" with Ye's mental condition.

"It is an emotional process, for sure," Kardashian said. Ye's wife explained that everything was calm at that time, but they still feel episodes coming. However, they know how to handle the situation.

Meanwhile, last year, during West's interview with David Letterman on My Next Guest Needs No Introduction, the rapper spoke about what it's like when experiencing "episode." "When you're in this state, you're hyper-paranoid about everything," Ye stated.
