Selena Gomez Joins Blackpink in the K-pop Group's Untitled Second Single

Selena Gomez is revealed to appear on BLACKPINK's upcoming single.

The South Korean girl group has been teasing for weeks that their new single will feature a popular musician. Turns out, it is none other than actress and singer Selena Gomez.

The new song will drop on August 28, Friday, but the title has not been revealed yet. The song title will most likely be disclosed on or before the release date. Nevertheless, fans are excited about this high-profile collaboration.

Gomez is known for her song "Lose You To Love Me," reaching the Billboard charts' top spot last November 9, 2019. She is also known for her other chart toppers such as "It Ain't Me" (with Kygo), "Same Old Love," "Good for You," "Come & Get It," "The Heart Wants What It Wants," "Hands to Myself," and she was featured in Charlie Puth's "We Don't Talk Anymore."

She recently released a music video collaboration with Trevor Daniel "Past Life." It was uploaded on her official YouTube channel last July 14, 2020. It garnered over 15m views, 815k likes, and 38k comments.

On the same YouTube channel, she uploaded a video teaser for her upcoming film premiere "This is the Year" last Monday August 10, 2020. The movie will have its first live virtual premiere on August 28. She believes that, because of the crazy things that has been happening besides the pandemic, a "feel-good movie is just what we need." She invites everyone to take part in the rare virtual experience.

As for BLACPINK, this is their second single following "How You Like That." Both songs and more be included in their upcoming album simply called "BLACKPINK: The Album." It is set for release on October 2, 2020 and Gomez is the only collaborative feature mentioned so far. Fans speculated that there will be more featured artists.
