Good news for hard rock fans! The world's biggest rock and roll whiskey festival is back, and this year's lineup is bigger than ever.

Louder Than Life 2022 announced its headliners for this year, and some of the iconic bands will grace the stage in Louiseville.

According to NME, the bands that will open the show in four separate days are Nine Inch Nails, Slipknot, KISS, and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

The event will occur at the Highland Festival Grounds at KY Expo Center in Louisville, Kentucky.

Aside from the music acts mentioned above, other musicians will also perform their greatest rock hits, including Bring Me The Horizon, Lamb of God, Tenacious D, Chevelle, Papa Roach, Alice Cooper, Yungblud, Evanescence, The Pretty Reckless, and many more.

The four-day event will run from September 22 to 25.

Louder Than Life 2022 Performers React on Headline Announcement

It seems like the headliners for this year's rock festival are thrilled to perform, as many of them took to social media to express their excitement.

Slipknot's Michael Shawn Crahan, AKA Clown, reacted to the event, saying, "This is how you do festivals right."

He commended the lineup by saying the festival will feature incredible music with other talented musicians.

"Slipknot is excited to share the stage with Nine Inch Nails, KISS, and so many more. Stay safe, and we'll see you in Louisville," he added.

Randy Blythe of Lamb of God also reacted, saying they are looking forward to returning to Louisville, especially when they share the stage with legendary rock bands.

What To Expect in Louder Than Life 2022?

Aside from good music, fans can also senjoy four days of overflowing food and alcoholic beverages like bourbons, spirits, craft beer made by Louiseville locals.

According to Billboard, the famed music festival has continued to grow throughout the years. It amassed over 128,000 fans over the first three days during its debut in 2014, making it one of the largest rock festivals in America.

Fans can purchase tickets at Louder Than Life's official website. General admission passes start at $249.50 plus fees. VIP tickets are priced at $629.50 plus fees.

Danny Wimmer Presents produces the music festival. By 2021, organizers added an additional day to the festival, allowing it to  start on a Thursday, compared to their previous Friday shows.
