Is Kanye West going to take a break from music?

Since being banned from Instagram for harassing ex-wife Kim Kardashian and her current lover, Pete Davidson, the award-winning rapper has kept a quiet profile.

Because of his words on Trevor Noah, his performance at the 2022 Grammy Awards was even canceled.

There were rumours in April that West informed Kim that he was going to move away for a time to "get healthy," but new publicist Jason Lee quickly batted down the accusations.

However, Vory, a close friend and colleague, recently revealed in an interview with Complex that the father of four is taking a year sabbatical from music and public life.

Because the two artists "think alike," Vory claims West made him understand his warped views weren't that twisted.

Vory's best buddy, an assistant for the "Donda" rapper, was supposedly the conduit via which the two buddies spoke.

"He's taking a year off, and he was like, 'Damn, you think Vory will be mad at me if I don't go to his release party?' And I was like, 'Nah, you're straight, bro.'

He went on to say about West, "He's battling his own sh--. That's my dog, and I learned a lot from him."

If Vory is correct, Kanye West will miss Rolling Loud Miami, which is slated for next month and where he is one of the headliners, alongside Kendrick Lamar and Future.

Rolling Loud Miami will take place from July 22 to July 24, with tickets going on sale in March.

Kanye West will headline the first night, followed by Future and Kendrick Lamar on Sunday.

West hired Future to executive produce "Donda 2," which was published exclusively on the Stem Player in March.

Kanye West's eleventh studio album, "Donda 2," was released in February 2022, with four tracks currently available before the actual release.

There was also a "Kanye West: Donda Experience Performance" at LoanDepot Park in February 2022, showcasing songs from the original incarnation, which sold out 47 IMAX screens throughout the US.

Music critics gave the album mediocre reviews, citing song structures, a lack of distinct idea, and the subject matter.

Unfortunately, some critics criticized West's vocals, while others believed they just enhanced certain production components.
