But despite the debacle, Nicki Minaj's loyal fans found a way to stream the rapper online. Sporting a new look in a body-hugging costume, Minaj's returned her iconic blonde hair, which many have come to love.
However, this was not the only thing that fans noticed on the Essence Festival performance.
Is Nicki Minaj Pregnant For Second Baby?
In Nicki Minaj's debut festival performance in years at the Essence Festival, fans were praising the Queen of Rap online because of her dancing skills and the new blonde look.
However, Barbz online are onto something.
A video posted by a user on TikTok snapping a clip of Minaj dancing to Did It on'em onstage on the Essence Festival has gone viral.
The video, now amassing 4.4 million plays claimed that Nicki Minaj was "definitely pregnant."

Barbz were also quick to agree on the comment section noting that the Do We Have A Problem rapper seemed to have a baby bump.On that same day, the uploader revealed on the thread that Minaj has liked the video, which he thought is a confirmation of the news.
Other users were also taking to Twitter in speculation if she is pregnant or just gaining weight.

While some are debunking the rumor, saying that it was just a simple weight gain brought by motherhood - new speculations arise after the rapper posted a new photo with what others claim to be an old one.

The left photo was a cropped photo of Nicki wearing the same clothes and look like she did on the right image, which fans claim to be an old photo they have seen before.
While the rumors remain unrefuted and unconfirmed, some Barbz are worrying if the Queen of Rap will still be releasing an album if proven pregnant.
Nicki Minaj confirmed on The Late Late Show with James Corden earlier this year that an album from her will be dropping around Summer this year. But as of this writing, Minaj has only released four songs - Do We Have a Problem, Bussin, We Go Up, and a feature on Coi Leray's Blick Blick.
Nicki Minaj is headlining Wireless Festival on the last day, July 10, of the two weekend festivities in Finsbury Park, a day after Cardi B's performance.
