A few days ago, fans were devastated after Drake announced that he tested positive for COVID-19, leading him to cancel the finale show of his successful October World Weekend along with highly-anticipated guests Nicki Minaj and Lil Wayne. Today, the rapper has finally revealed a rescheduled date for the postponed show.

Taking to his official Instagram account, it appears that the 35-year-old rapper feels better than he did a few days ago as he finally tested negative for the virus.

The "Take Care" hitmaker's rescheduled show with two of the legendary artists in the hip hop industry will be this weekend, August 6, at the Budweiser Stage in Canada.

"Negative test...positive outcome...this was the only date available until the fall and because the family is so solid everybody is flying back in to make it happen for you all...SEE YOU SATURDAY...young moulaaa," he wrote.

The recent news comes a few days after Drake announced that he would cancel his Young Money reunion show with the two musicians.

He noted that he was devastated by the outcome as his show was originally scheduled for August 1 at the same venue.

"I am so sorry for letting you down on our weekend together and the moment I test negative I will give you everything I got on stage (except the Covid)," he concluded.

The rapper's Road to OVO Fest Tour festivities kicked off last week featuring many talented Canadian artists like Keshia Chanté, Choclair, Kardinal Offishall, and many more.

One of the singers who surprised concertgoers was the legendary Nelly Furtado as she belted out her Grammy Award-winning song "I'm Like A Bird" with Drake himself.

Fans immediately reacted online upon finding out about their interaction, saying the two made "Canadian History."

Furtado also performed one of the most popular songs in her catalog, the 2006 song "Promiscuous" featuring Timbaland.

For Drake's second show, he featured Lil Baby and Chris Brown, which became controversial online as many people criticized the latter's appearance on the show.

In other reports, Nicki Minaj has finally unveiled the official art cover of her upcoming song "Super Freaky Girl" which featured the singer seemingly sporting her "Pink Friday" aesthetic by wearing a pink wig, a pink leotard and a pair of pink stilettos.

The song will be available for purchase and streaming on August 12.
