Ari Lennox Struggled Over the Past Year

New music seems like good news for Ari Lennox as the R&B singer had tough experiences over the past year.

In early reports, Lennox was arrested in Amsterdam for allegedly disturbing public order. She defended herself on social media, saying she was apprehended for "reacting to a woman racially profiling" her.

She also ranted about the situation, saying Amsterdam security "hates black people" and she'll never leave her house again.

The "I Been" songstress, whose real name is Courtney Shanade Salter, was in Amsterdam Schipol airport late last year where she was arrested for having aggressive behavior toward staff.

in addition, she was allegedly drunk when the incident happened.

Then in January, Lennox expressed her true feelings about her label Dreamvilel Records, saying she wanted to be "dropped from labels."

"I want to be dropped from the labels. I'm done and tired," she wrote in a tweet, which has been deleted afterward.

It appears that Lennox maintained her professional relationship with her record label as her upcoming song will be released via Dreamsville.

Lastly, the singer was disrespected in an inappropriate interview on a South African podcast, leading her to express her feelings online after being asked abut her sex life.

She noted that parts of the interview were not cut as the team promised and she was in "immense shock" at the time of their conversation.
