Aaron Carter intends to sue his ex-girlfriend Melanie Martin, claiming that the case would be similar to the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard defamation case.
The former teen idol, who was recently accused of fracturing Melanie's ribs, compared his intentions to the high-profile trial, which lasted from April to June.
The "All About You" singer's recent accusations come less than a month after he stated that they had restarted their romance. They appear to have broken up again when Aaron calls the cops to his house.
Aaron even accused Melanie of stealing him of costly goods from his house, including a $20,000 fur coat he bought in Utah, a Rolex watch, his Louis Vuitton bag he had been traveling with for 12 years, "pricy" D&G shoes, and the engagement ring he had given Melanie.
In response to recent police presence at his home, Nick Carter's 34-year-old younger brother cleared the air.
According to the Daily Mail, Aaron summoned the authorities to his house because Melanie "wouldn't leave" and was "trying to trigger" the singer.
Aaron also stated that his nine-month-old son Prince was not present at the time and that he had not seen him throughout his dispute with Melanie.
The "Candy" singer also claimed that his ex-lover would break into his house through the back window and stroll about without his consent.
Aaron then added he "personally feel like [he] deserves a better girl," adding that he wants a woman who is a better fit for him and his "Southern" values.
The former heartthrob also said, "Now it's time to focus on being single, focus on my aftercare, focus on my son."

Why Is Aaron Carter Suing Melanie Martin?
Aaron Carter stated that his son had been living with Melanie Martin's mother since Melanie Martin had lost custody of their child.
He went on to say that he had lost custody "simply because I carry weapons."
In terms of the case, Aaron stated that he will sue Melanie for "defamation of character" because she claimed he cracked several of her ribs.
Aaron also claimed that it harmed his job and that he was forced to see his ex.
Melanie first provided medical paperwork demonstrating that at least one rib had been shattered, but she later repudiated the allegation on social media.
He also gave a shoutout to Johnny Depp's superstar lawyer Camille Vasquez, saying, "Camille, if you hear this message, please help me, call me and find a way to contact me personally and I would love to talk to you."
Aaron concluded that he knew Camille would help him win the case because he had "the facts."
When asked if Melanie even had the funds to win the defamation suit, Aaron said, "You can't get blood out of rock. That's not the point. The point is the career."
