Rihanna's music never fails, and it also swoons the heart of "Black Panther" franchise director, Ryan Coogler.

After a long wait, Marvel fans finally received the sequel to Chadwick Boseman's standalone film, "Black Panther." The second installment, officially titled "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever," revolves around the people of Wakanda as they protect their nation following King T'Challa's death.

The franchise did not recast Boseman's character nor used CGI. Instead, it continued the actor's legacy through the film.

What made it more emotional was Rihanna's song, "Lift Me Up," which earned praise from director Ryan Coogler and Ludwig Göransson.

In an interview with Billboard, Coogler and Göransson spoke highly of the singer and how they made the spark that happened between them become a supernova.

The Swedish composer said Rihanna's "Lift Me Up" felt like it had a life of its own.

Meanwhile, Coogler admitted that he has been listening to the singer since "Pon de Replay."

"Rihanna, I've been listening to her since she came out, since 'Pon de Replay.' And her music has had a very meaningful effect on my life and the life of my family. I think back on some of our most memorable moments, and she was like a soundtrack for a lot of them. So it was amazing that it worked out," Coogler went on.

Rihanna's "Lift Me Up," was written by the singer herself alongside Tems, Coogler, and Göransson. They created it based on Boseman's life and legacy.

The director revealed he began working on its lyrics while on a flight to Nigeria to meet with artists and learn about their music. Coogler started to write it after hearing the chords Göransson made.

But aside from the hit track, Riri dropped a new song for the film after it officially premiered.

On her YouTube channel, Rihanna released the new song, "Born Again," marking her second single this year and the second song for "Black Panther" second installment.

The-Dream, who collaborated with her on her hits "Birthday Cake" and "Umbrella," worked with her by writing the song.

For now, Rihanna's fans put the songs on loop as they wait for an update regarding her ninth album which will serve as the follow-up to her "Anti-." But hints have been lurking around, saying that her new album might be a reggae-themed project.
