Joe Jonas enlisted the help of Khalid to honor military veterans with their new collaboration song "Not Alone," the song is released in Nov. 11, in celebration of Veterans Day.

Jonas returned to the silver screen as he played the role of Marty Goode in the upcoming movie, "Devotion," the movie is a biographical war drama movie that follows two elite fighter pilots, Jesse Brown and Tom Hudner, who were prominent for their roles and contribution during the Korean War.

Along with his role in the movie, Jonas, along with Khalid, performed an emotional ballad, which will be included in the movie's soundtrack. "Not Alone" follows the movie's themes of loneliness and perseverance.

"We definitely spoke about the idea of shooting this video as a separation of my two passions from music and acting," Jonas said about the newly released music video.

"I'm not playing a character in this video, I'm myself. But we wanted the video to speak to the raw emotion of the song, so everything from the clothing to actually having one of the planes we used in the film."

According to People, the music video was filmed at Hanger 21 in Fullerton, California, hence the bright shimmering sunlight in the background.

The place Jonas stood next to in the music video also happened to be the very same plane that was used in "Devotion," which is slated to be released in theaters Nov. 23.

Other clips in the music video feature veterans, showing pictures of themselves in uniform; as well as clips from the movie itself.

Jonas also opened up about working with Khalid: "Having him part of this co-write and also his beautiful voice [being] part of this brought it to a whole new level."

Khalid was equally honored to be part of the commemorative ballad, "I'm very thankful that Joe reached out to me to be a part of this. I think that the message is really special."

Although Khalid is yet to watch the movie, Jonas had nothing but praise for the movie, "The movie, he tells me, is incredible. I can't wait to see it for myself. And this is just a beautiful experience all around. Good vibes, good people, good energy. And I can't wait for you guys to hear the song and see the movie."

"Devotion" premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 12, 2022. It received positive feedback from critics. The movie stars Jonathan Majors and Glen Powell.
