ZZ Top's vixen Kymberly Herrin, who appeared in the band's "Legs" music video, has died. She was 65.

Herrin's niece confirmed the news to Consequence, saying that the actress died at her home in Santa Barbara, California. EW also quoted the social media post that her niece, Theresa Ramirez, shared.

Both separate statements did not reveal Kymberly Herrin's cause of death, but it noted that she died "peacefully" on October 28.

Meanwhile, Santa Barbara News-Press delivered the same heartbreaking news in an obituary and asked her fans to make a donation in her memory to the American Cancer Society. The amount will support the organization in its prevention research and treatment of breast cancer.

It remains unknown whether her bereaved family's support to society is related to her real cause of death, but a social media post claimed Herrin lost her battle against the "horrible disease."

According to the American Cancer Society, breast cancer can start in one or both breasts. Still, it is worth noting that most breast lumps are benign and not malignant. It can also be categorized as carcinomas or adenocarcinomas.

Herrin left behind her mother Billie Dodson, brother Mark Herrin, her nieces, and her nephews. Details about her funeral and memorial are yet to be confirmed.

On the other hand, fans took their time to remember the actress and shared the memories they had with her.

In the music industry, Herrin played an iconic role to complete the ZZ Top music video for "Legs" in 1984.

Before her death, she appeared in a 2013 interview where she opened up about how her collaboration with the band started.

"I was in LA partying with some friends. I was up late. I had a cold. I checked my [answering] machine in Santa Barbara and there was the [ZZ Top] casting call. Be there today and I had one hour. I flipped out. They called my name and I met the boys in the band. I apologized for my appearance," she said.

But in the end, she was cast to appear in the music video for the song included on its "Eliminator" album.

Herrin also established her empire in the acting industry, starring in several flicks including "Ghostbusters," "Road House, "Romancing the Stone," and "Beverly Hills Cop II."
