A Terry Hall video that went popular over the Christmas break is shared by fans.

The Specials leader passed away on December 18 at the age of 63.

His colleagues referred to Terry as a "wonderful friend, brother, and one of the most creative singers, songwriters, and lyricists our nation has ever produced," in a statement announcing his passing.

A video from Terry Hall's 2019 interview with the BBC has begun to circulate online as Terry Hall's admirers pay tribute to him.

In the little video, Terry discussed his struggles with melancholy and his quest to find happiness in the simple things.

He added that until somebody told him about it, he was unaware that he had spent the first 50 years of his life in a bubble he termed "depression."

Ten years prior to the interview, Terry said that he needed to see a doctor in order to obtain help due to a specific occurrence that occurred in his life.

Speaking about his doctor, he said, "She's been with me for 10 years and she's got me out of this bubble and said, 'You've got an illness, but we can deal with it.'"

The singer of "A Message To You, Rudy" went on to discuss how his life had changed as a result of obtaining therapy. He claimed that the five years after that interview had been wonderful for him and that he had begun to enjoy even the simplest things on a level he had never imagined.

Terry mentioned that he liked certain things the way they were, that seeing a folding bike instantly brightened his day, and that it was okay to see that the bike needed to be folded to a certain size.

It resembles origami. However, if I only receive one thing on that level each day, I'll be overjoyed. So joyful.

When people questioned Terry about why he couldn't laugh or be joyful despite having numerous number-one singles, Terry admitted that he had no idea why it didn't make him grin, but the foldable bike did.

Terry Hall discussed his battles with depression and addiction, which began when he was kidnapped by a pedophile gang and subjected to sexual assault in the 1970s.
