New shocking information about Aaron Carter emerged in court as the probe to determine his cause and manner of death remains underway.

Carter was found dead by his house helper on Nov. 5, but the authorities still need more time to find out more details about his death through the ongoing investigation. Most recently, fiancée, Melanie Martin, and his mother, Jane Carter, said the Los Angeles County Coroner's Office informed them they found no water in his lungs, ruling out drowning as a possible cause of death.

Amid the probe, a new development emerged during an ongoing legal battle in court.

Radar Online reported that Carter's estate is facing a financial problem after Wells Fargo Bank claimed the late singer had whopping credit card debt before his death.

The documents, obtained by the news outlet, revealed that the singer failed to pay the $2,887.51 of his credit card balance.

The new legal battle started after a biohazard cleanup company sued the estate and Carter's fiancée.

For what it's worth, Sterile Pros, LLC, said they owed them $33,000 for their work on Carter's Lancaster, California home in 2022. According to The Blast, Sterile Pros has since field a mechanic's lien on Carter and Martin's home, saying it "provided labor, services, equipment, and/or materials upon the premises, and upon every estate or interest in such structures and improvements."

Following his death, multiple publications estimated that Carter's liabilities totaled over $2 million.

Aaron Carter Opened Up About Financial Troubles Before His Death

In 2016, the "I'm All About You" singer sat for an interview with financial advisor Victor Antonio for Spike TV's new reality show, "Life Or Debt." At that time, Carter - who became emotional -said he was in a terrible position.

"When I turned 18, I got hit with all those taxes. I filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy last year; now I'm already over $100,000 in debt," he said, according to People. "It's been really difficult for me. I want to have a life set up. I want to have a house. I can't tell you how badly I want to have a home."
