Yesterday (Aug. 18), Taylor Swift made three massive surprise announcements during her Yahoo! live stream: she released a new song "Shake It Off," dropped a music video for it and announced her new album 1989. In the midst of all the excitement from the 30-minute webcast, Swift announced she'll have a deluxe edition of her fifth studio album with three bonus tracks and phone voice memos, and now it's been revealed that the extended record will be available only at Target.

When trying to pre-buy 1989 on TaylorSwift.com, fans are redirected to target.com, Music Row points out, making it seem as though the mega-chain will be the exclusive carrier of 1989 D.L.X.

This isn't the first time Swift has dealt exclusively with Target. Her last album, 2012's Red also had a Target deluxe edition, and her holiday album Sounds of the Season was also a Target exclusive.

As Swift announced during her live stream, the U.S. deluxe edition of 1989 will contain three bonus songs she wanted to include on the album. More interesting for Swifties, D.L.X. will also contain three "voice memos" from Swift's phone. These notes are the earliest demos of three tracks that ended up on 1989.

"The first thing I do is grab my phone and either sit it on the edge of the piano or put it on my bed in front of my guitar and play whatever melody/gibberish that comes to my brain first. I've never released any of that before, but I actually have three bonus tracks that are just voice memos from my phone," she said during her album announcement. "You'll hear me singing an idea and melody and some words, and you'll be able to go to the record to see what it ended up being when it was finished."

Swift's Red follow-up 1989 will be released on Oct. 27. It's being pegged as her first bona fide pop album, and is being led by the "Happy"-esque new track "Shake It Off."
