Rihanna is still making headlines nearly 24 hours after her performance at this year's Super Bowl Apple Music Halftime Show where she featured some of her greatest hits throughout her years-long catalog. Even though this year's show had just ended, many fans are already predicting who would be next year's headliner; could it be Taylor Swift?

After the "Pon De Replay" songstress' set, fans immediately took to Twitter to express their thoughts about next year's possible perfomer, saying it should be the "Midnights" hitmaker.

"Calling it now. Taylor Swift is headlining the Super Bowl next year. It's making sense," one wrote, while another user penned,"Personally I think it's time #taylorswift stepped up and just kill it at the #SuperBowl half time show she is just brilliant with probably the best catalogue of music out there."

Without any confirmation, fans have already composed their ideal setlist, with one writing, "if Taylor Swift will do the superbowl halftime before releasing a new album, i think songs from midnights are the one which fit the most tbh."

"I've spent this evening composing the ideal setlist for if taylor swift performed the superbowl half time show and even i know that's a ridiculous waste of time," another one expressed.

Taylor Swift Unlikely to Perform at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in 2024

Being one of the most successful artists of today's generation, Taylor Swift could follow the likes of the legendary singers who came before her like Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Diana Ross, Michael Jackson, and more, in performing at the iconic Super Bowl Halftime Show.

However, it appears that the musician won't be appearing anytime soon due to her hectic schedule re-recording her previous albums as well as going on tour this year.

en.as.com reported that it all began in 2019 when Scooter Braun bought the master copies of the pop star's previously-released albums. The embattled talent manager reportedly sold and made a whopping $300 million.

Swift said it was the "worst-case scenario" for her as she had to re-record all six albums for her to have the full rights.

As of this writing, the "Paper Rings" hitmaker had already released two projects, the Taylor's Versions of "Fearless" and "Red," meaning, she had to re-record four more (although it's heavily rumored that "Speak Now" would be released anytime soon, Swift has yet to confirm her next project).

In addition, insiders previously told a news outlet that the pop star turned down the offer to perform at last year's Halftime show and the reason behind it was that she wanted to finish re-recording all albums first before taking on the job.

The outlet further explained that there is still a possibility for her to be the headliner in 2024, but it depends if she finishes all her projects by the time of the announcement.

As of this writing, Taylor Swift has yet to comment and confirm whether the previous reports about her Super Bowl Halftime Show offer were true or not.
