Rihanna's Super Bowl performance was one of the most-awaited acts to ever land television this year - and she started the performance with the most shocking revelation yet!

As soon as the music started playing, the camera focused on a close-up shot of Rihanna; shortly after, the shot panned to a medium one, seemingly revealing what others thought to be a "baby bump."

She then went on to perform one of her most popular songs, "B--- Better Have My Money," dancing as if she was better than ever.

However, after her 13-minute medley performance of her hits, speculations on Twitter were starting to pick up as many seemed to have thought that RiRi was pregnant with her second child, presumably with A$AP Rocky.

Rihanna Pregnancy Rumors Confirmed

Now, an Entertainment Tonight source revealed that Rihanna only had shared the news with a "very limited few," people prior to her Super Bowl performance.

"Rihanna has always done things on her own schedule so she didn't let her plans for baby number two stop her from committing to doing the show -- she wanted it all!" the source said.

They also went on to reveal that she did not know that she was pregnant at the time she agreed to perform on the Super Bowl halftime show. Further along the way, people had been "very supportive" of her decision to share the news with only a number of people.

Turns out, the National Football League and Apple Music did not know that Rihanna was pregnant until after the performance - only the Super Bowl halftime producer Jesse Collins and a handful of other people.

Collins told the outlet that they have to rehearse miles away from Los Angeles and Santa Clarita just to keep the performance and Rihanna's pregnancy under wraps.

"It was a lot of work. And then, how do you keep the secret that she's pregnant? I mean, that's hard too... Honestly, as soon as it [was] done I'm like, 'Woo, let's get her back down.' That's all I want to do is get her back on the ground... It was a lot of prep, a lot of nerves and [I'm] just really happy to be a part of it," he told Entertainment Tonight.

Even the costume and choreography were tweaked up until the last minute just to accommodate Rihanna's pregnancy.
